Frequently asked questions

What Markdown syntax is supported?
Headings (# through ######), bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, fenced code blocks, blockquotes, unordered and ordered lists, task lists, links and images.
Does it support tables?
Markdown table syntax (using | characters) is planned. HTML tables can be pasted directly into the Markdown source.
Can I use it to write blog posts?
Yes. Write in Markdown, preview to verify, then export HTML to paste into your CMS, Ghost, Notion or WordPress.
Does it support math or LaTeX?
LaTeX/KaTeX rendering is not currently supported. Use inline code fences for displaying equations.
What is the exported HTML file like?
The download includes inline CSS styling and all content in a single self-contained HTML file that works in any browser.
Is it compatible with GitHub Flavored Markdown?
Most GFM features are supported. Advanced GFM features like Mermaid diagrams and footnotes are not yet implemented.
